Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently accepting applications for experienced Machinists in the Chula Vista, National City, and Otay area. We are seeking skilled candidates with hands-on machining experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Requirements:
Proven machinist experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to set up and operate manual and/or CNC machines
Experience with lathes, mills, grinders, and related equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Strong understanding of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Knowledge of machining processes, tolerances, and quality standards
Preferred Qualifications:
CNC programming experience (a plus, not required unless specified by client)
Technical training or machinist certification preferred
Experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial manufacturing environments
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
Schedule:
Various shifts available (days, nights, and weekends depending on assignment)
Monday – Friday schedules available depending on company placement
Pay:
$22.00 – $30.00 per hourDOE (Depending on Experience) and company placement
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate machining equipment to produce precision parts
Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
Maintain equipment and perform basic troubleshooting as needed
Follow production schedules and work instructions
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies
