Job Title: Manual Laborer with Light Construction Experience
Express Employment Professionals of LAX/Hawthorne is looking for a Manual Laborer with Light Construction Experience for a client in the construction industry. We are seeking someone who can assist with general labor tasks, including moving materials, operating basic hand and power tools, and maintaining a clean and safe job site. The role will involve supporting construction teams and performing light physical work as needed, following safety procedures and instructions from senior staff.

Hours: Must be able to work variable hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
Pay Rate: $20/hour (depending on experience)
Job Description for Manual Laborer with Light Construction Experience:
- Assist with moving materials such as wood, concrete, drywall, and other supplies on construction sites.
- Operate basic hand tools and light power tools under supervision.
- Perform general site preparation and cleanup, including removing debris and organizing materials and tools.
- Support construction teams with basic tasks like demolition, lifting, and material handling.
- Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Assist with site setup and breakdown as needed.
- Perform other manual labor duties as assigned by senior staff.
Minimum Requirements for Manual Laborer with Light Construction Experience:
- Previous experience in manual labor or basic construction is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow directions.
- Strong work ethic, reliable, and punctual.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on different tasks as needed.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and in varying weather conditions.
Minimum Physical Requirements for Manual Laborer with Light Construction Experience:
- Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs and carry materials.
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and stand for long periods.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and on elevated surfaces.
- Must be comfortable with climbing stairs and walking long distances.
- Ability to observe multiple tasks at once and pay attention to safety details.
Preferred Qualifications for Manual Laborer with Light Construction Experience:
- Previous construction or manual labor experience.
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety.
