Forklift Operation & Material Handling
-
Safely and efficiently operate a stand-up and/or sit-down forklift to move, stack, load, and unload materials, including large equipment and boxed parts.

Perform daily pre-operation safety checks on the forklift and report any maintenance issues immediately.

Transport materials to and from designated areas, including receiving docks, storage racks, and shipping areas.

Ensure all inventory is stacked and stored according to safety guidelines and warehouse organization protocols.

Maintain accurate inventory counts related to material movement.
Warehouse Operations & Inventory

Receive, inspect, and process incoming air conditioning parts and supplies, checking for damage and discrepancies against purchase orders.

Pick and stage outgoing orders accurately and promptly to meet tight shipping deadlines.

Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks manually and with material handling equipment.

Conduct routine cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain accuracy of stock.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including sweeping, dusting, and organizing racks and aisles.

Follow all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
Client Service & General Duties

Assist customers and delivery drivers with loading and unloading materials when necessary.

Package and label parts appropriately for shipment.

Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
Required Qualifications
-
Proven experience (1+ years) operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution setting. Current forklift certification is highly preferred.

Prior experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or parts environment (HVAC parts experience is a plus).

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Basic computer skills for inventory logging and shipping software.
