Job Full Description
Express Employment is seeking a mechanically inclined and safety-conscious Panel Press Technician to join a great local production team for the 2025 season (May–September). You’ll help shape the future of sustainable building systems while ensuring the structural integrity and quality of mass timber panels.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate mechanical press and dowel systems

Monitor panel alignment, pressure settings, and cycle times

Perform safety and maintenance checks on machinery

Assist in dowel tool setup and installation

Inspect finished panels for defects and quality

Maintain accurate production records

Collaborate with layup, finishing, and material handling teams
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge
-
Previous experience in production or heavy machinery operation preferred

Detail-oriented and safety-focused
