Job Full Description
We are currently hiring an experienced Log Truck Driver to transport timber safely and efficiently in and around Highway 36 and surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for a dependable CDL driver with logging or long truck experience to join a reputable and safety-focused team.
Pay:
$25.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday with some Saturdays as needed. Start times vary depending on the haul location and job site.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate log trucks on rural roads, mountainous terrain, and highways
-
Transport logs from harvest sites to mills or designated drop points
-
Conduct and document daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
-
Secure loads in compliance with DOT and safety standards

Communicate with dispatch and loading crews for efficient operations
Qualifications:
-
Valid California Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience required

Logging truck or long truck driving experience strongly preferred

Clean motor vehicle record (MVR will be reviewed)

Must pass DOT physical and drug screening

Comfortable with off-road and mountainous driving conditions
Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with hauling logs or operating long trucks
-
Previous experience driving on Highway 36 or similar terrain

Strong understanding of load securement and safety protocols
