Job Full Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Production (Packaging Operator) to join our operations team in Crescent City, CA. This hands-on role supports the packaging process by operating equipment, performing quality checks, maintaining sanitation standards, and preparing finished products for shipment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packaging and production equipment
- Package, label, palletize, and stage finished products for shipment
- Perform quality control checks to ensure product and packaging standards are met
- Document work orders, lot numbers, weights, and labels accurately
- Conduct routine equipment checks, basic adjustments, and minor maintenance
- Maintain clean and sanitary work areas in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Follow all company safety policies, SOPs, GMP, and HACCP guidelines
- Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervision
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior production, manufacturing, or packaging experience is a plus (training provided)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift experience a plus (certification provided if needed)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and use hands throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50–55 lbs occasionally
- Ability to work in environments with temperature variation, humidity, noise, and cleaning chemicals

Work Environment
This is an onsite production role in a manufacturing setting. Employees may be exposed to wet or humid conditions, temperature variations, loud noise, and food-grade cleaning chemicals. Personal protective equipment may be required.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
