Operations Support Specialist (Temporary - CRESCENT CITY)
Location: Crescent City, CA (Onsite)
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Status: Temporary - expected to last 3-4 weeks
Start Date: Llast week of March or first week of April
About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Operations Support Specialist to support daily office and plant operations at a Crescent City facility. This mostly administrative role is the first point of contact for visitors and team members and plays a key role in keeping operations organized, professional, and running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the front-office point of contact: greet visitors, answer phones, and support day-to-day administrative needs
- Process production work orders and assist with inventory and data discrepancies
- Support onboarding activities including new hire paperwork, I-9s, badges, and locker assignments
- Maintain office, breakroom, and supply inventory
- Coordinate internal communications, postings, and basic team recognition efforts
- Assist with payroll coordination, workers’ compensation documentation, and safety recordkeeping
- Prepare documents, reports, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office
- Support retail and donation-related administrative tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 2 years of administrative or office support experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Edge, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- ERP system experience preferred but not required
