Job Full Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Table Operator to join our production team in Crescent City. This role is essential to the cheese-making process, focusing on curd handling, product quality, and maintaining strict food safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor drain tables and processing equipment during cheese production
- Measure and record product data such as pH, temperature, and moisture levels
- Accurately apply salt to curd based on specifications
- Transfer product efficiently through production stages
- Complete production records and maintain accurate documentation
- Perform equipment cleaning and sanitation (CIP/COP processes)
- Follow all food safety, GMP, and HACCP guidelines
- Identify and report equipment or process issues
- Support team members and maintain a clean, safe work environment
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of food manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands and arms; occasional bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- Comfortable working in hot, wet, and humid environments
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and loud production areas (PPE provided as required)
Work Environment
This is an onsite position in a food production facility. Employees may be exposed to heat, moisture, and production noise. Strict adherence to sanitation and safety standards is required.
