Job Full Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Unload plumbing pipes from delivery trucks; verify product materials ordered are material received, verify quantities.
- Check incoming freight for damage.
- Enter tag-and-hold location on system in timely manner.
- Remove tag-and-hold products from incoming shipments.
- Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
- Stages customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for drivers route.
- Notify Purchasing Department of all received discrepancies. Maintain appearance of the Shipping and Yard areas and assigned aisle(s). Work on large "Cast Iron" orders.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 Years of previous experience as Warehouse Yard Worker.
- Able to do Safety Inspections of Forklift
- Able to organize work-space; remove and move items on a regular basis plus do Inventory count.
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Uses computer to enter records.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
Equipment Used:
- Forklift (Sit-down), Pallet Jack, Hand Truck, RF Scanner, Shrink wrapper
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting, Moving, Pushing up to 50 lbs
- Bending, crouching, kneeling on a regular basis
Qualities Preferred:
- Reliable, punctual and able to show up to work on a daily basis.
- Can follow verbal & written instructions.
