Job Full Description

Position Summary: Coordinates drivers, trucks, and containers to optimize capacity, productivity, and customer service. They are responsible for safety, customer experience, and efficiency while utilizing the RISE platform to streamline routes and improve performance.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Follow safety policies and report driver performance issues.
  • Use the RISE platform for real-time route adjustments, maximizing efficiency.
  • Monitor and respond to route changes, ensuring timely service and resolving transit issues.
  • Analyze logistics data (inventory, routing, etc.) to enhance accuracy and productivity.
  • Maintain communication with drivers and oversee route progress.
  • Design and sequence efficient, operationally sound routes.
  • Meet goals for missed pickups, service commitments, and key performance metrics (KPM).
  • Identify opportunities for swing routes and optimize daily routing activities.
  • Collaborate on disposal plans to ensure driver compliance with designated sites.
  • Update customer geocoding to improve route efficiency and address customer concerns.

Customer Experience:

  • Interact courteously with customers and maintain service commitments.
  • Proactively address route issues to avoid delays and improve communication with customers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through adherence to service standards.

Qualifications:

  • Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar tools.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments and customer-facing roles.
  • Associate degree or equivalent, with 2 years of dispatching experience preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
