Job Full Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks, possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, and be capable of managing daily financial transactions, including bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks using QuickBooks
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis
- Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate financial data
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist in payroll preparation and related filings
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and procedures
- Support year-end audit and tax preparation
Requirements:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and communication skills
