Job Full Description
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires excellent time management skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle various types of delivery vehicles. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely deliveries.
Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles including box trucks, vans, and other commercial vehicles.
- Load and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as necessary.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
- Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies encountered during the delivery process.
Requirements:
