Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments, ensuring the integrity of our financial records.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-volume data entry of invoices and other financial documents.
  • Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with maintaining and reconciling financial records.
  • Support month-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
  • Apply general ledger knowledge to accurately code expenses.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized and accessible accounts payable files. Other tasks will be assigned by the management

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with data entry, preferably in an accounting or finance setting.
  • Familiarity with financial record-keeping principles and practices.
  • Understanding of general ledger concepts.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
