Job Full Description

Installing cabinets: Building and installing cabinets, such as kitchen cabinets and under-stair cabinets
Adding architectural details: Installing crown molding, baseboards, doors, window trims, and custom cabinets
Installing other features: Installing stair railings, wainscoting, door trim, and other final touches
Measuring and cutting: Measuring, cutting, and installing various fixtures and millwork
Collaborating: Collaborating with other carpenters, journeymen, and supervisors to complete projects
Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting and repairing issues with building components and equipment
Following safety regulations: Following established regulations and advocating for safety on each worksite

Additional Skills and Qualifications Required:

Proven experience as a finish carpenter or similar construction role.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and layout.
Knowledge and hands-on experience in:
Electrical ( installations and fixture work)
Plumbing (repairs and installations)
Drywall (installation, patching, texturing)
Painting and surface prep
Demolition and debris removal
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to problem-solve and adapt on the job site.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work on ladders or in tight spaces.

Requirements:

Valid California Driver’s License with a clean DMV record.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or trade certification preferred.
