Job Title: Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a high-performing AR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is looking for a long-term opportunity based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Process and manage a high volume of accounts receivable transactions, with the ability to handle 100+ receivables daily

Post payments, apply credits, and reconcile customer accounts accurately and efficiently

Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances

Communicate professionally with customers regarding invoices, payments, and discrepancies

Maintain organized and accurate AR records and supporting documentation

Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards
Requirements:

2–3 years of heavy, hands-on Accounts Receivable experience in a high-volume environment

Associate’s Degree (AA) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience

High School Diploma or GED required

Proven ability to manage large workloads with strong attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills

Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
