Tax Manager
Type: Direct Hire (Salaried)
Pay: DOE — Open to $100,000+ for the right candidate
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: Camarillo
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and self-sufficient Tax Manager to oversee and run their tax office operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on tax professional with strong leadership skills who can manage day-to-day operations while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities:

Run and manage the tax office independently

Oversee daily operations, workflows, and office performance

Prepare and review tax returns while ensuring compliance with regulations

Supervise and manage a small team (1–2 employees)

Provide leadership, guidance, and training to staff

Serve as a point of contact for clients and resolve escalated issues as needed
Qualifications:
-
3+ years of relevant tax experience
-
Active CTEC license (required)
-
Proven experience managing or supervising staff

Strong leadership, organizational, and operational skills

Ability to work independently and take ownership of office success
