Shipping Clerk / Warehouse Shipping Associate
Pay: $20/hr+ DOE
Schedule: 6:00AM-2:30PM
Location: Oxnard, CA

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk / Warehouse Shipping Associate to manage the outbound flow of goods from a warehouse or distribution center. This position is responsible for ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, labeled, documented, and prepared for timely shipment.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, basic inventory knowledge, and experience working with shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
Key Responsibilities

Pick products from storage locations and pack them securely for shipment.

Verify outgoing orders for accuracy, damage, and completeness.

Prepare shipping documents including Bills of Lading, packing slips, invoices, and customs paperwork when needed.

Weigh packages, print shipping labels, and process shipments through carrier systems.

Schedule carrier pickups with UPS, FedEx, DHL, freight carriers, or other logistics providers.

Track stock levels and assist with cycle counts.

Report inventory discrepancies, shortages, damages, or shipment issues to management.

Coordinate with warehouse staff, customer service, and carrier drivers to resolve late shipments, damaged goods, or order issues.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping area.

Follow all company safety, quality, and shipping procedures.
Qualifications
Required
-
Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred.

Ability to accurately pick, pack, label, and document customer orders.

Basic computer and data entry skills.

Ability to read order forms, packing slips, invoices, and shipping documents.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to lift, move, and package materials as needed.

Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred
-
Experience using UPS, FedEx, DHL, or other carrier shipping systems.

Experience preparing Bills of Lading and freight documentation.

Inventory control or cycle counting experience.

Experience with international shipping or customs paperwork.

Forklift or pallet jack experience.
