Custodian
Location: Camarillo, CA
# of Openings: 2
Schedule: Monday–Friday, (First schedule is 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM and second 9:30AM-6:00PM)
Occasional weekend work may be required.
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team in a temp-to-hire capacity. The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout our facilities, ensuring all workspaces, common areas, and production areas meet company cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain designated building areas including breakrooms, restrooms, offices, conference rooms, parking lots, production areas, and other workplace spaces.

Perform daily custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning, trash removal, and replacing sticky mats.

Conduct routine deep cleaning projects throughout the facility as needed.

Perform quarterly facility maintenance, including carpet deep cleaning and floor waxing.

Restock and sanitize restrooms and breakrooms across all facilities on a daily basis.

Clean kitchen refrigerators on a weekly schedule.

Maintain cleanliness of production areas throughout the day and as directed by the Facilities Custodial Supervisor or Facilities Manager.

Assist the Warehouse team with icing and packing shipments as directed by management.

Operate floor-sweeping equipment daily to maintain warehouse cleanliness.

Conduct routine inspections of restroom and breakroom fixtures and amenities, including toilets, sinks, and lighting.

Perform general maintenance tasks as assigned and promptly report repair needs or facility deficiencies to management.
Qualifications
-
Previous custodial, janitorial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.

Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Ability to lift, carry, and move cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.
