The Packaging Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and cleaning packaging equipment while ensuring products are packaged accurately and according to established quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with production equipment, and able to follow detailed procedures in a quality-focused environment.

Set up, operate, and monitor packaging machinery throughout production runs.

Operate equipment such as pill counters, bottle cappers, labelers, sealers, conveyors, and turntables.

Adjust machines for different bottle sizes, labels, caps, and product specifications.

Monitor equipment during production and make appropriate adjustments to maintain proper operation.

Load and feed bottles and packaging components into production equipment.

Fill, secure, label, and package containers according to established specifications.

Inspect labels, seals, caps, and finished products for accuracy and quality.

Set aside defective labels, seals, or products for rework.

Package finished bottles into designated boxes and load boxes onto pallets.

Prepare equipment and packaging components for upcoming production runs.

Complete accurate and timely production documentation.

Enter batch information and other production data into computer systems.

Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and written work instructions.

Follow cGMP, safety, quality, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Perform product and packaging measurements to ensure proper machine setup.

Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble packaging equipment between production runs.

Maintain clean and organized production, packaging, warehouse, and gowning areas.

Assist Quality Control and other production team members as needed.

Use pallet jacks, carts, dollies, and other material-handling equipment.

Perform additional packaging and production-related duties as assigned.

Previous machine operation, packaging, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.

Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn equipment setup and adjustments.

Basic computer skills and ability to enter production information accurately.

Ability to read and understand written instructions, procedures, and SOPs.
