Job Full Description
A local Santa Rosa company is looking for a skilled CDL A Driver with manual transmission experience to join their team. As a vital member of the transportation department, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating commercial vehicles to transport goods to various destinations.
Shift:
- Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM (earlier start times as needed for deliveries)
Pay Range:
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate CDL A vehicles equipped with manual transmission.
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Manual Transmission is REQUIRED.
- Doubles and Flatbed experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of and adherence to DOT regulations.
- Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
