A NON PROFIT RETAIL STORE IN VACAVILLE IS SEEKING AN INTERIM STORE MANAGER. THIS IS A TEMPORARY CONTRACT POSTION WITH THE POTENTIAL TO GO FULL TIME. THE PAY IS $33.00 - $36.00 AN HOUR !

Essential Duties:

Operations and Store Management

Develop and implement procedures for store and dock operations including:

  1. Opening & closing store operations.
  2. Evaluate and implement appropriate operational hours for store and dock.
  3. Accepting community donations.
  4. Sorting, pricing, and merchandising products.

Leadership and Team Management

Manage and coordinate staff, volunteers, and project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.

  1. Support staff and volunteers, when needed, with issues, merchandising, customer complaints, pricing, etc.
  2. Treat all staff and volunteers with professionalism, courtesy and respect.
  3. Provide consistent and timely performance feedback to team members, recognizing excellence and addressing areas for improvement.

Implement operational directives, train staff and volunteers on new policies and procedures, and communicate effectively with all relevant parties

  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to evaluate & prioritize projects.
  • Flexibility and adaptability; requires ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of cash controls and procedures including credit card sales, vouchers, and capability of learning the operation of the POS system.
