Assist Project Managers in directing and coordinating construction activities to maximize efficiency and profitability. May travel and act as onsite Project Manager, taking responsibility for specific projects.

Manage customer and project expectations through documentation, meeting minutes, and submittals.

Oversee multiple manufacturing and construction projects simultaneously.

Mentor and instruct junior Project Engineers on company procedures and standards.

Review drawings and specifications to plan construction procedures, staffing, and scheduling.

Assist in preparing pricing, qualifying local contractors, and developing fixed-price proposals.

Coordinate with various organizational teams (supervisory, clerical, drafting, manufacturing).

Prepare procurement orders to align with work schedules.

Communicate with supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve issues and prevent delays.

Inspect work to ensure adherence to specifications and schedules.

Report on project progress, material usage, costs, and adjust schedules accordingly.

Coordinate payment applications with customers, engineers, and inspectors.

Maintain thorough project documentation related to contract compliance, change orders, disputes, and authorizations.

Support safety programs and ensure effective loss control on project sites.
