Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Position Overview
The Full-Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for handling the full cycle of accounting functions, with a strong emphasis on construction-specific accounting processes, including job costing and subcontractor management. This role requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to work independently while supporting leadership with timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting (A/P, A/R, general ledger, bank reconciliations)

Oversee job costing and project tracking

Prepare and submit progress billings and monitor retainage

Track subcontractor compliance (insurance, W-9s, lien releases)

Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports

Assist with budgeting and cash flow forecasting

Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Qualifications
-
Prior experience in construction accounting required

Strong understanding of job costing and project-based accounting

Advance knowledge in Quick Books, Quick Books Pro (skill test required prior to final interview)

Ability to create new QB Business Account

Ability to open up chart of accounts
- Ability to enter all data related to account
- Advanced knowledge in Excel
