LOCAL MANUFACTRING COMPANY IN SOLANO COUNTY IS SEEKING AN ADMINISTRATIVE PROJECT COORDINATOR. THIS IS A LONG TERM-OPPORTUNITY AND THE PAY STARTS AT $30.00 AN HOUR.

Skills / Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe work practices and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies on assigned projects. Take ownership of safety performance while fostering a positive safety culture and mindset.

  • Generate project quotations by coordinating with internal experts (Field, Shop, and Supply Services) to deliver accurate and high-quality proposals to customers, including performing or coordinating equipment sizing and selection.

  • Collaborate with the Technical Account Lead to obtain customer purchase orders (POs), including any change orders that arise during the project lifecycle. Ensure POs and associated terms and conditions are properly received, reviewed, and booked according to company processes.

  • Execute projects in accordance with the approved quotation and received PO by coordinating with internal teams to ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Procure necessary equipment and materials while maintaining cost control and margin accountability. Maximize project margins through effective change order management and scope expansion opportunities.

  • Implement and adhere to required quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Support continuous improvement initiatives by tracking and managing quality issues or rework, and ensuring proper root cause analysis is conducted.

  • Conduct quality inspections for assigned projects to verify compliance with applicable quality programs, specifications, and customer requirements. Ensure all personnel involved understand and follow required procedures to achieve the desired results.

  • Prepare project invoicing packages, including job costing, assembling supporting documentation, updating purchase orders, and ensuring accurate financial records for assigned projects.

  • Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in industries with knowledge of system operations, pumps, and valves.

    • Experience working in a workshop environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and lead effectively within a team.

    • Solid understanding of pressure systems and the ability to service valves in a production environment.

    • Familiarity with NBIC, ANSI, and ASME codes and their practical applications.

    • Ability to read and interpret maintenance and repair manuals, as well as electrical and mechanical schematics, for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical assemblies.

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and maximize efficiency.

    • Working knowledge of welding and machining practices and industry standards.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to navigate web-based technical literature and software.
