Purchasing Coordinator

The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for supporting procurement operations by processing purchase orders, maintaining vendor relationships, tracking inventory levels, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials and supplies. This role works closely with vendors, internal departments, and management to ensure accurate purchasing activities while maintaining cost-effective and efficient procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and process purchase orders.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment planning.
  • Track orders and resolve discrepancies related to shipments or invoices.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet purchasing and inventory needs.

Qualifications:

  • Previous purchasing, procurement, inventory, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
