Seasonal Processing Operators & Lab Technicians – Woodland, CA

Start Date: October 20, 2025
Duration: Approximately 5–6 weeks
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6 days a week (including weekends)
Pay Range: $24–$26 per hour

We’re seeking 10 seasonal team members to join a leading food production and olive oil refining facility located in Woodland, CA.

We’re currently hiring for:

  • (6) Processing Operators
  • (4) Laboratory Technicians

These seasonal positions offer an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment while contributing to a high-quality olive oil refining process.


🔧 Seasonal Processing Operator

Summary:
Assist with the operation of the refining process, general production, and warehouse functions in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate refining and tank farm equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor and control processes, test products, and respond to alarms.
  • Load and unload tankers, handle orders, and perform minor maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and complete quality documentation.
  • Follow all GMP, Food Safety, and Safety procedures.
  • Work independently and collaboratively during 12-hour day/night shifts.
  • Operate forklifts as required (training provided if needed).

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a production or refinery environment preferred.
  • Forklift certification and experience strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.

🔬 Seasonal Laboratory Technician

Summary:
Support daily laboratory operations to ensure accurate and timely testing of materials in compliance with ISO and quality system standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory tests according to SOPs and ISO standards.
  • Record and store samples accurately and maintain proper documentation.
  • Calibrate and maintain lab equipment; ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on testing, oil management, and research.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering materials and supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Food, or Chemistry preferred (not required).
  • Prior laboratory or quality testing experience required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
