Job Full Description
Auto Painting is preferred
Perform all Assistant level painting tasks in all positions within the Painting Department including the following:
a.
Conduct paint preparation and clean-up (Wash Booth) operations.
b.
Be familiar with all standard and commonly used paint types and mixtures.
c.
Wear and maintain all types of protective clothing, equipment, and respirators.
d.
Prepare and apply commonly used liquid paint types, considering hazard constraints and applications.
e.
Independently apply paint to clean surface as required by work orders and QA standards.f.
Exercises QC inspections to ensure compliance to quality standards.
g.
Assist in the maintenance of paint booth filtration and air quality pump assemblies.
2.
Cross train in two different production positions at the basic level (additional areas such as Crate, Belt, Assembly, and Fabrication).
3.
Operate material handling cranes and other lifting devices as required.
4.
Read and exercise QC checklists to ensure proper compliance to quality standards.
5.
Perform duties within the company safety programs standards to maintain accident-free working conditions.
6.
Comply with all company policies and procedures as required.
