Maintenance Technician September 30, 2026

Located in Pueblo West, CO

Pay: $$22-$25

Respond to and complete apartment maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
Perform general maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, and appliance repairs.
Conduct routine inspections of apartments, common areas, equipment, and property grounds.
Perform preventative maintenance to help identify and address potential problems before they become major issues.
Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including repairs, touch-ups, cleaning, and general unit turnover.
Maintain accurate records of completed work, maintenance requests, parts used, and follow-up items.
Keep maintenance tools, supplies, equipment, and inventory organized and properly stocked.
Monitor maintenance supplies and communicate when parts or materials need to be reordered.
Prioritize and manage multiple work orders while meeting deadlines.
Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas, storage rooms, and workspaces.
Coordinate with property management regarding maintenance concerns, resident requests, and larger repair needs.
Communicate professionally and courteously with residents, property staff, and vendors.
Identify safety hazards and report or correct issues as appropriate.
Assist with emergency maintenance situations when necessary.
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and applicable building codes.
Maintain a professional appearance and represent the property positively.

Previous apartment, residential, commercial, facilities, or general maintenance experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
Ability to prioritize multiple work orders and changing maintenance needs.
Ability to keep accurate records and maintain an organized inventory of tools and supplies.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license may be required.
Ability to safely lift, carry, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and perform physical maintenance tasks.
