The Skilled Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication work according to blueprints, specifications, and production requirements. This position requires experience with various welding techniques, the ability to read technical drawings, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Perform welding operations using appropriate welding processes, such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding, as required.

Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, work orders, and technical drawings.

Fit, align, and assemble metal components prior to welding.

Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and quality to ensure they meet required specifications.

Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and related fabrication machinery safely.

Measure, cut, grind, and prepare metal materials for welding.

Identify and correct welding defects or inconsistencies.

Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.

Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and production guidelines.

Work independently and with team members to meet production deadlines.
