Auto Repair Technician | 1st Shift | Hamden, CT
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Fridays, 7:30 am to 12 pm (no weekends!)
Pay: $30-50/hr, depending on experience
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles (domestic and foreign)
- Conduct inspections and test drives to ensure vehicles are repaired properly
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers about vehicle issues and repair timelines
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs
- Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean and organized
- Stay current with automotive technology and tools
Qualifications:
- Must have own set of tools
- I Car Certification (preferred)
- Previous experience working on restraining systems (3-5 years)
- Ability to paint vehicles through correct color matching
