Job Full Description
We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager to lead our day-to-day financial operations. This role requires a hands-on professional with deep experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and accounting management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting including accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R) and general ledger
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Maintain accurate journal entries and ensure proper application of debits and credits
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries, account analysis and account reconciliations
- Review and prepare financial statements
- Prepare sales reports and financial reports as needed
- Maintain and update financial records
- Support the financial reporting process and ensure accuracy in all financial records
- Support leadership with administrative tasks, including HR and payroll assistance
- Answer phone calls and handle general office inquiries
- Maintain file management systems
- Ensure smooth day-to-day office operations
Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience in Accounting/Full Charge Bookkeeping
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Experience working with a manufacturing company
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with payroll and HR a plus
- Ability to multitask across a range of financial and office duties
