CNC Milling Machinist | Direct Hire
Location: Hebron/Andover area
Pay rate: $20-30/hr
Schedule:
- 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm
- 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 3:25 pm to 1:45 am (must be able to train on 1st shift)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3-, 4-, and/or 5-axis)
- Load and edit CNC programs; adjust tooling and offsets as required
- Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
- Machine parts to exact specifications and tolerances
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
- Identify and troubleshoot machining or quality issues
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area
- Document production and inspection results as required
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and production standards
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of CNC milling experience
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators)
- Knowledge of CNC machining principles and tooling
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work assigned shift and overtime as needed
