Senior Electrical Engineer | Direct Hire
Location: Middletown, CT
Pay range: $100,000-150,000

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced control systems for rotating aerospace subassemblies
- Program and integrate control platforms including LabVIEW and PLC systems
- Design and support regenerative systems utilizing variable frequency drives (VFDs) and electric motors rated 500 HP and above
- Select, integrate, and troubleshoot physical sensors (temperature, pressure, flow, force, etc.)
- Develop and support motor drive electronics and associated instrumentation
- Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting of control systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams
- Support documentation, technical reports, and compliance requirements
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) – Required
- Minimum 3–5 years of electrical engineering experience
- Experience with LabVIEW, PLCs, and discrete electronic instrumentation
- Strong knowledge of regenerative systems and high-power VFD-driven motor systems (500 HP+)
- Experience with physical sensor integration and motor drive electronics
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
