Mechanical/Electrical Technician | Direct Hire
Location: Middletown, CT
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm
Pay rate: $55,000-75,000
Requirements:
- Mechanical Assembly of precision machines using hand and power tools
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics
- Basic measurement tools such as micrometers, dial indicators calipers and depth gauges
- Machine drive shaft and coupling alignment
- Metal fabrication experience
- Knowledge of plumbing for water, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Assembly of precision mechanisms such as test stands, dynamometers, pumps and motors
Qualifications:
- Finishing/Painting experience preferred
- Welding experience preferred
- Metal fabrication experience preferred
- Light machining using lathe, bridgeport, and surface grinder preferred
- 3-5 years previous experience in a similar role
