Job Full Description
General Laborer
Location: Middletown, CT
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am to 3 pm
Compensation: $19/hr
Duties:
- Load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items onto moving trucks
- Safely handle and transport customer belongings
- Wrap, pad, and secure items to prevent damage
- Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed
- Follow directions from crew leaders and work as part of a team
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Provide excellent customer service during moves
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy items (50–100 lbs) repeatedly
- Strong physical stamina and endurance
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Good communication skills
- Previous moving or labor experience is a plus, but not required
