CNC Set-up
Location: Hamden, CT
Pay rate: $21-45/hr, based on experience
Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Thursday, 7 am to 5:30 pm or Monday-Thursday, 7 am to 4:30 pm and Friday, 7 am to 11 am
Responsibilities:
- Set-up and program CNC milling machines, lathes, Swiss
- Maintain machines during operation
- Assist operators inspect parts
- Load and unload materials
- Inspect parts using calipers and micrometers
- Assist in complete first piece inspections
- Follow blueprints, work instructions, and safety procedures
- Keep the work area clean and organized
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of CNC machining or milling experience, we can train if necessary
- Experience using calipers and micrometers
- Ability to read basic blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand throughout the shift
