Looking for steady work with weekends off? Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Material Handler for our client, an international metal processing and distribution company known for its stability, safety, and long-standing reputation in the industry.
Monday–Friday day shift that keeps your evenings and weekends free.
7am to 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Move raw materials, finished products, and equipment around the facility using a forklift, plus cranes, hoists, and hand trucks as needed.
- Pick, package, and stock product accurately to fill customer orders and follow the inventory plan.
- Load and unload trucks, verifying the right items go out and come in.
- Identify and set aside defective material, and complete paperwork per work instructions.
- Inspect the forklift at the start of every shift and follow all safety, ISO, and 6S standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous forklift certification.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and handle bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
- Ability to read and write English and do basic math.
- Preferred: experience with handheld measuring tools and basic computer skills, such as database programs and Microsoft Office.
