CNC Machinist – 1st Shift | Precision Grinding & Lathe Operation
Location: Clearwater FL
Shift: 1st Shift

Job Type: Full-Time
Are you a skilled CNC Machinist with experience in grinding, lathes, and working with various metals and alloys? Join our manufacturing team where safety, quality, and precision are top priorities. We're seeking a reliable machinist to produce high-accuracy components based on engineering blueprints using both CNC and manual equipment.
?? Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC and manual grinding and lathe machines to meet production goals.

Fit and assemble components according to technical specifications and quality standards.

Select appropriate speeds, feeds, and tooling for machining operations.

Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure machine reliability.

Conduct inspections and complete all quality documentation.
-
Load and unload materials and finished parts safely.
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and 5S-compliant work area.

Support production needs as directed by your supervisor.

Collaborate with CNC programmers to maximize machine uptime.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
?? Qualifications & Skills:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.

Proficient with measuring tools and performing basic shop math.

Able to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment.

Experience with a variety of materials and metal alloys.

Trade school certification or Associate Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
????? Physical & Environmental Requirements:

Work in a typical manufacturing setting with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and machining equipment.

Able to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb as needed during a full shift.

Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for precise machining and inspection.

Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at all times.
