Mechanical Assembly Technician

What You’ll Do
- Assemble mechanical components and systems using blueprints, schematics, and standard procedures
- Perform complex alignments, calibrations, and leveling during temporary and final installations
- Operate hand tools, pneumatic presses, and electric machinery to modify and prepare parts
- Assist in mechanical and electrical testing, debugging, and data collection
- Troubleshoot equipment including electrical, mechanical, and vacuum systems
- Recommend and document design and process improvements across departments
- Inspect work of junior technicians and help improve procedures
- Prepare machines for shipment, including cleaning and utility breakdown
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
- Uphold company safety, health, quality, and environmental standards
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical/electrical assembly
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Skilled in using hand, pneumatic, and power tools
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and guide junior technicians
- Professionalism, sound judgment, and business awareness
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Regular standing, walking, sitting, and manual tool use
- Occasional exposure to mechanical parts and electrical systems
- Moderate to loud noise environment
