Job Full Description
The Production Lead will oversee the daily operations of the machine assembly floor, ensuring that production goals are met with high quality and efficiency. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, leadership skills, and a passion for building complex machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on, supervise and coordinate the activities of machine builders and technicians
- Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics to guide assembly processes
- Ensure adherence to production schedules, safety standards, and quality control
- Provide hands-on support in troubleshooting and problem-solving during builds
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to optimize workflows
- Train and mentor team members to enhance technical skills and performance
- Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment needed for production
- Monitor and report on KPIs, productivity, and build progress
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in machine building or industrial equipment assembly
- 2+ years in a supervisory or team lead role
- Strong understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
First shift. $55K starting pay.
