COIL WINDER - MAGNETICS
First shift M - F 7 am to 3:30 p.m.
SUMMARY:
Performs the necessary operations of winding wires to produce the assembly of Current and Power Transformers.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree); or 1-3 months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Read a winding spec and set up the winding machine accordingly in English.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read wiring diagrams TTL production sheets instructions for assembly.
- Record processing information in specified area on Production Sheet.
- Read a winding spec and set up the winding machine accordingly.
- Calibrate turns counter and test coils.
- Solder terminals to magnet wire.
- Insert core/laminate into coil.
- Check Transformer for exposed wires.
- Clean transformers after resin process.
- Place hardware on finished products.
- Apply pretest labels to units when required.
- Follow safety rules, instructions, guidelines, and procedures.

- This is not a remote position.
- Quiet to moderate noise in a production environment
- Temp to perm position.
