COIL WINDER - MAGNETICS

First shift M - F 7 am to 3:30 p.m.

 

SUMMARY:

 

Performs the necessary operations of winding wires to produce the assembly of Current and Power Transformers.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree); or 1-3 months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Read a winding spec and set up the winding machine accordingly in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Read wiring diagrams TTL production sheets instructions for assembly.
  • Record processing information in specified area on Production Sheet.
  • Read a winding spec and set up the winding machine accordingly.
  • Calibrate turns counter and test coils.
  • Solder terminals to magnet wire.
  • Insert core/laminate into coil.
  • Check Transformer for exposed wires.
  • Clean transformers after resin process.
  • Place hardware on finished products.
  • Apply pretest labels to units when required.
  • Follow safety rules, instructions, guidelines, and procedures.

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

 

  • This is not a remote position.
  • Quiet to moderate noise in a production environment
  • Temp to perm position.

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour (DOE)
