Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
- Optional overtime: Up to 4 hours on Saturdays (twice per month)
Position Overview
This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and well-rounded in facility maintenance. You’ll be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and functional common areas while assisting with minor repairs and vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance using hand and power tools
- Painting (approximately 30% of the role)
- Janitorial duties in common areas (approximately 20%)
- Lighting maintenance (replace bulbs, ballasts, and fixtures)
- Assist with minor repairs such as small leaks
- Maintain cleanliness of shared spaces (spill cleanup, trash removal, restroom overflow response)
- Respond to elevator issues (reset to top floor and contact maintenance vendor when needed)
- Coordinate and communicate with vendors (e.g., elevators, landscaping, plant services)
Note: Lawn and plant maintenance are handled by external services.
Requirements
- Experience with general maintenance tools and tasks
- Strong reliability and punctuality (attendance is critical)
- Good communication skills
