Job Title: Project Manager – Construction
Location: Indian River County or Palm Beach County
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $100K+
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee all phases of construction projects from initial estimates through closeout. The Project Manager will be responsible for budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders across various stages of the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:

Participate in project estimation, budgeting, and the development of construction strategies.

Establish and manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery.

Select and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers; issue subcontracts and purchase orders.

Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and design professionals to ensure cohesive project execution.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes and regulatory requirements.

Serve as the first point of contact when issues or delays arise, taking decisive action to resolve problems efficiently.

Organize and plan the job from pre-construction through completion.

Maintain detailed logs of change requests and manage the change control process.

Communicate formally and effectively with owners, architects, and other project stakeholders.

Provide leadership and support to the Superintendent and Project Engineer, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Track job costs and perform regular cost projections to maintain budget integrity.

Oversee material procurement and assist with expediting critical items.

Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout all phases.

Supervise the preparation and submission of closeout documents.

Assist with the review and approval of shop drawings and submittals.

Prepare detailed payment breakdowns and manage payment applications.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management (commercial/residential/industrial – specify as needed)
- Strong work tenure (3 years at each company) and a professional resume

Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, contracts, and project budgeting

Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and foster collaborative relationships

Experience with regulatory compliance, permitting, and code adherence

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
