Job Title: Project Manager – Structural Steel
Location: Treasure Coast, FL
Compensation: $85-$100K #TCFL
Position Summary:
A detail-oriented and results-driven Project Manager is sought to lead and oversee structural steel projects from initial concept through to completion. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all phases of the project lifecycle while ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets aligned with contract requirements.

Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and internal personnel.

Oversee project execution to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.

Maintain a deep understanding of project scope, objectives, deliverables, and client expectations.

Monitor project progress and proactively manage changes in scope, schedule, and costs.

Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid project delays or issues.

Facilitate clear and effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and proper project closeout procedures.

Conduct regular meetings with key stakeholders including general contractors, owners, architects, and internal teams.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Proven experience in managing structural steel fabrication and erection projects.

Strong knowledge of structural steel design, construction methods, and industry best practices.

Familiarity with AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) standards is highly desirable.

Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive project success.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing demands.

Proficiency in project management and design software including Tekla, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
