Job Overview:
As a Working Site Manager, you’ll oversee and participate in the installation, relocation, and decommissioning of digital and analog public safety and commercial communication systems. You’ll collaborate closely with customers, subcontractors, project managers, and engineers — ensuring every site is managed efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
This is a field-based, customer-facing role ideal for candidates who thrive on leadership, technical work, and travel-intensive assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise on-site installation crews
- Perform hands-on installation and equipment relocation
- Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and safety standards
- Conduct regular site audits and quality inspections
- Coordinate logistics, materials, subcontractors, and deliveries
- Maintain accurate site documentation and reports
- Liaise with project managers, customers, and engineering teams
- Problem-solve field challenges and implement solutions
- Mentor and guide junior technicians on proper procedures
- Enforce all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) protocols
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years in site/project management or telecom installation
- General Contractor’s License preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior military or public safety experience highly valued
- Excellent communication, leadership, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with field documentation and workflow systems
Job Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel 90% of the time (Monday–Friday)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders/stairs, and work in active construction zones
- Familiar with hand tools, safety gear, and basic telecom installation protocols
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Able to accurately complete site paperwork and client-facing reports
