Job Title: Service Technician II

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician II to join our team in Vero Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing maintenance, diagnostics, and minor repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to support equipment readiness and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, including mechanical, electrical, diesel, and hydraulic systems.

Assist with major repairs under the supervision of senior technicians.

Conduct equipment inspections and report condition for billing and service tracking.

Complete accurate documentation of labor, parts, and repairs through work orders and system entries.

Support equipment pick-up, delivery, and parts logistics as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on job sites and in the shop.

Adhere to all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards.

Interact professionally with clients, coworkers, and vendors to ensure customer satisfaction.

Assist higher-level technicians and contribute to a collaborative, team-driven culture.

Perform other duties as required to meet evolving business needs.
Minimum Requirements:
-
2-3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or completion of a trade school program in a relevant field.

Must provide own tools appropriate for the position.

Working knowledge of mechanical diagnostics, schematics, and basic electronic systems.

Familiarity with equipment brands such as John Deere, Deutz, Yanmar, Duraflow, Boerger, and PrimeRite is a plus.

Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems is preferred.

Strong time management, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Physical Demands:

Occasional wading in water may be necessary to set up equipment at job sites.
