Position Summary

A well-established independent insurance agency on the Treasure Coast is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Executive with a strong background in Property & Casualty insurance. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed professional who is detail-oriented, client-focused, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, processing new and renewal business, and ensuring outstanding customer service throughout every stage of the insurance process. This includes preparing applications for submissions, marketing with carriers, issuing certificates of insurance, creating proposals, and handling the various day-to-day tasks associated with commercial insurance transactions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with new and existing commercial clients.

  • Evaluate client needs and present tailored insurance solutions.

  • Prepare applications and market submissions to carriers.

  • Provide accurate and timely certificates of insurance and policy documents.

  • Generate professional insurance proposals and policy comparisons.

  • Stay up to date on changes in industry regulations and insurance markets.

  • Assist clients with questions regarding coverage, claims, renewals, and policy changes.

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

  • Maintain organized and compliant client records and documentation.


Qualifications

  • Active 440 or 220 Florida insurance license required

  • Previous experience in commercial Property & Casualty insurance is essential

  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

  • Analytical mindset to assess risk and match appropriate coverage

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts simultaneously

  • Proficient in standard insurance software and agency management systems

  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
