Job Full Description
An established hoist ring manufacturing company in Valdosta, GA is searching for experienced QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTORS to join its production team. Quality Control Inspectors are responsible for performing inspections throughout the production process to ensure all parts meet customer and company specifications.
Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities:

Perform daily receiving, 1st article, in-line, and final inspections

Inspect and sort hoist rings and components
-
Use dial calipers, micrometers, bore mics, height and pin gauges, and other measuring devices
-
Distinguish acceptable vs. rejectable parts based on specifications
-
Read and interpret blueprints and quality documents
-
Accurately record inspection results and maintain documentation
-
Follow all company safety and quality procedures
Schedule & Pay:
Quality Control Inspector Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Proficient with micrometers, bore mics, calipers, gauges, and other QC tools
-
Strong computer skills
-
Ability to read and interpret prints
-
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
-
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors
-
Previous QC experience in manufacturing preferred
