Job Full Description

Job Summary:

The Sanitation Clerk Assistant supports the sanitation team by assisting with administrative tasks, record-keeping, inventory tracking, and coordination of daily sanitation activities. This role helps ensure that sanitation procedures are documented accurately and that all cleaning and safety standards are maintained across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist loading and unloading
  • Monitor sanitation supply levels and report inventory needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support compliance efforts by helping to ensure sanitation documentation meets internal and external audit requirements.
  • Communicate with sanitation team members and other departments to relay schedules, updates, or instructions.
  • Assist with minor cleaning or prep tasks during peak periods or as needed.
  • Report any discrepancies, hazards, or concerns to the Sanitation Clerk or Supervisor promptly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in a sanitation, administrative, warehouse, or production environment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work in a production, warehouse, or industrial environment as needed.

Working Conditions:

  • May involve working in wet, cold, or industrial environments.
  • May require standing or walking for extended periods.
  • Use of PPE (gloves, safety glasses, boots, etc.) may be required.
