Job Full Description
Express is looking for a reliable Utility Payment Processor for one of our great Valdosta clients
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer payments (cash, checks, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments)
- Post payments to customer accounts accurately and in a timely manner
- Verify payment details and resolve discrepancies or errors
- Maintain records of transactions and update account information
- Assist customers with billing questions and payment options
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile transactions
- Generate receipts and maintain documentation for auditing purposes
- Collaborate with billing and customer service departments
- Follow company policies and regulatory guidelines for financial transactions
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Pay: $17.00
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
- Previous experience in payment processing, cashiering, or billing a must
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial transactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payment processing systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and customer service skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs .
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.
- Comfortable working in both quiet and high-traffic environments.
